The following vision statement describes what the ARC wants to achieve for the Auckland region’s long-term future. The vision statement provides direction for all of the organisation’s activities.
The Auckland region - a great place to live. Ko Papatuanuku te matua o te tangata.
The mission statement, which broadly describes how we will achieve the vision, expresses the ARC’s strong desire to work in partnership with our regional community. This community includes: local councils, citizens, community groups, business and infrastructure suppliers. It also acknowledges our commitment to achieving the four well-beings outlined in the Local Government Act 2002.
Working in partnership with our regional community to achieve social, economic, cultural and environmental well-being. Toitu Te marae o Tane Toitu Te marae o Tangaroa, Toitu te iwi.
